The Forest

The Forest
The Forest is a survival horror video game created by Endnight Games and it’s still in development currently. This is a creepy open world where players have to survive all possible dangers at night. The game is played on the first-person perspective, and it puts all players in the shoes of a solitary survivor who is the last person that stays alive after the terrible jet crash. Being lost in the strange forested island filled with mysteries and threats surrounding, players have to utilize their abilities and intelligence to unravel all those mystical things. With an exclusive gameplay, no set tasks or adventures, it’s all up to players to decide their lives and survival! Fight or surrender totally depends on them! Although the game is in Early Access, it’s still worth a try! More extra gameplay and wonderful features will be released later!

Gameplay of The Forest

The Forest
After luckily surviving from the great jet crash, you are trapped on the mysterious forested island full of malicious cannibalistic mutants. Will you surrender and present your life to them? Obviously not! As a lonely survivor, you have to defend yourself at all cost. Your son is kidnapped by those mutants and you must do anything to take him back. You will venture into the battles and make your way through the island with the hope of finding your son. You will start it off by building the dwelling, crafting more powerful weapons and other survival equipment. There are plenty of nocturnal, cannibalistic mutants roaming around the island at night. You will be at risk for you if you venture out into the forest without having any defensive tools. Those creatures are probably not always aggressive to you, but their actions will turn extremely hostile, particularly when the night comes.

The Forest
Nevertheless, the game developers have a tendency to let players ask themselves if the cannibalistic tribe living on this island is a real adversary of them or vice versa. Let’s think like this: in the initial confrontation of the player, those cannibals probably hold off to launch their assaults and instead of keeping an eye on the player from afar, they will try to talk to the human via the dummies, and send the guards to the base of player. However, when being in the fight, they frequently try to defend another one from getting injured, get rid of flames, encircle the player, lurk themselves in the dark, make the best use of tactical determination, and not venturing into the unknown realm for too long. Fire is the thing that those creatures are freaking scared of, they will hold back from getting closer to the players if they catch sight of a campfire or any flame nearby.
